Description

Listen to more powerful sound from your television with the JBL Bar 300. Thanks to Dolby Atmos technology, the sound is sent to your listening position by the soundbar via the ceiling. This creates a surround sound experience that completely immerses you in the fictional world on your screen. Use the PureVoice voice assistant to control the soundbar with voice commands. That way, you won't have to get up or use the remote to turn the soundbar on. Connect your phone to the soundbar via Bluetooth to listen to your favorite songs.

Good soundbar with full sound for this size.

  • Quick to install by ARC and CEC
  • Can be operated via the TV
  • Sound is good for this device (bass is not disappointing)
  • No extra deep bass, but you know that if you don't have a subwoofer.

It is quick and easy to install, the app on your phone provides some additional setting options. The soundbar was immediately ready for use (the TV settings were apparently correct right away) and could be operated with the TV remote control. If the power goes off (we switch off the power when we are not using the TV), it will remember the settings you have entered (this is different with other devices). The sound of the soundbar is very good for what you have. The bass is a bit less, but still well present for this size (and without a separate subwoofer). Dolby Atmos can be heard clearly in sample videos and with the calibration of the device, but I do not immediately hear it in films. The sound is fuller than what I was used to with my Edifier R1850DB. Consciously chose without a subwoofer because it would be in sight and in the way, but I don't regret it at all. All in all, very happy with this soundbar.

  • Built-in AirPlay (and maybe ChromCast) only good for audio, no video

Just received, but good and compact soundbar, good sound. Expected AirPlay also image. It is not so explicit in the specifications, if you read the manual you will see that you can only play audio via AirPlay (and ChromeCast), so that you still need an AppleTV or something for image.

Good soundbar

  • Good sound
  • Ethernet connection works contrary to what appears to be stated in the specifications.
  • Built-in AirPlay only works for sound, not video, so you'll need an AppleTV via HDMI for that.

Just received and it meets expectations, except for the lack of image with AirPlay via built-in AirPlay option. Whether the ChromeCast provides an image has not been tested.
