Description

With the QNAP TS-133, you get a NAS for at home. It's suitable to stream your favorite movies, series, and music. With a total storage capacity of 18TB and space for 1 drive, you have enough space to store your files. You can combine your business documents with your personal media and store them in one central place, for example. This NAS supports Plex up to Full HD, which means 1080 pixels. So you always have a high image quality when you stream your media. Do you use the NAS with multiple people, such as roommates or family members? Set up 'if this, then that' (IFTTT). That way, you're always made aware when someone uploads something to the NAS. In addition, the NAS is suitable for use with Apple, Windows, and Android. It doesn't matter which device you have, it'll always work with the NAS.

Easily replace defective QNAP with a new model.

  • Old HDDs are easily transferred to new NAS

I purchased the TS-233 to replace a defective TS-251. The old drives were mounted in the new NAS. The TS-233 starts quickly and can be found on the internal network via the QFinder Pro tool. Then a firmware update was suggested. After the firmware update, the drives are automatically prepared for use in the new NAS. This process takes quite some time (about 4 hours in my case). Afterwards, the new NAS and all folders will be available again as before.

perfect NAS

  • very many additional options to install
  • very simple to install.
  • small and powerful
  • if you install too many things from apps it can get stuck.

bought this as a 4th nas option to work with it from the outside, so when I'm not at home, and the many apps for your smartphone are very handy, you can also work with it on the move without worries via the laptop. highly recommended.
