In the SMEG FAB32, my meat and fish stay fresh for longer and I can freeze products quickly. Thanks to No Frost I have little time for maintenance. However, the bottom freezer compartment is slightly less deep, so I put my pizza boxes in the top drawers. Retro design SMEG is known for its retro design and that is the first thing I notice about this refrigerator. The black door shines in the light and the silver handles stand out clearly. The rounded corners also fit well with this design. The freezer drawers are sleek white with a chrome edge around the handle and I open them easily. I can easily select the correct temperature for the refrigerator and freezer compartment via the display at the top. The chrome racks in the door compartments match the retro design well and give the interior a luxurious appearance. My jars and cans also stay in place better this way. Meat and fish remain fresh I store my fresh meat and fish for longer in the Life Plus 0 degree zone. It is 0 degrees Celsius here, so about 4 degrees lower than the rest of my refrigerator. Handy for my minced meat and steak of salmon. The temperature makes bacteria spread less quickly and I keep my fresh products 2 to 3 times as long. And yes: at the end of the week my salmon steak is still completely fresh. Super cooling and super freezing I'm also curious about the super cooling and super freezing functions. I always get my major groceries once a week. This always causes the refrigerator to warm up a bit, because so many new products need to be cooled. Thanks to super cooling and super freezing, this is no longer a problem, because the refrigerator then significantly lowers the temperature. I throw my 2 full shopping bags in the refrigerator and freezer compartment and check fifteen minutes later. Everything in the freezer compartment is already well frozen and my small cans of cola and bottles of beer are also nice and cool. Never defrost again Defrosting the freezer compartment has never been my favorite job. It takes a long time and there is always water next to the bowl. Fortunately, the freezer section of the SMEG refrigerator has No Frost. This prevents ice formation in the freezer drawers. This way everything stays fresh for longer and I no longer have to work with a pan of hot water. I have enough room in the freezer drawers for bags of fries and oven snacks. I only put the pizza boxes in the top 2 drawers. The bottom one is less deep due to the No Frost system.

I returned this fridge because it makes a lot of noise (while the description says you can barely hear it). The high price is not in proportion to what you get. My old 'cheap' Bosch cost a quarter of this price and you hardly hear it.
