I was looking for a new 24" screen to use next to my old 24" screen, where I can work in the "extended screen/extended screen" mode, preferably on both screens with the laptop closed. It turned out to be possible for my work laptop from 2021, because the video card of my work laptop sends an image signal to the USB-C port and supports MST (multi stream transport). MST is two or more display signals through a cable. The image signal goes from my work laptop to the new screen and the new screen is looped through to my old 24" screen with a DisplayPort cable (which is not from LG by the way). It is even possible to work with three extended screens when you fold the laptop up. holds. It didn't quite work with my other laptop from 2019. My other laptop does have a USB-C output, but the video card does not send an image signal to it (so be careful with that!). There is only an HDMI port on it, but HDMI does not support MST at all and looping through to another screen is impossible. With this laptop I can work in extended screen mode on the laptop and the new 24" screen, but my old 24" screen does not participate. A solution for this situation could be to buy a USB 3.0 converter to HDMI with network card, but I haven't done that yet. The inputs for USB, HDMI and DisplayPort are right behind the screen. As a result, they are securely fastened, but you cannot put the screen close to a wall. In that case, it is better to take a screen where the ports are at the bottom of the screen. The USB extra inputs on the back of the screen are useful for mouse and keyboard. In short: if your laptop supports it, this is an ideal screen to loop through to another screen with a DisplayPort input.

Bought this as an addition to my Imac 24" Connecting via USB-C is very easy. I also use it to play games with my PS5. Picture is good, smooth and response time is quite good.

Works as it should. The usb-c cable is usb-c to usb-c, which makes it easy to connect to my MacBook.
