The Synology 4GB DDR4 SODIMM Non-ECC 2666MHz (1x 4GB), or D4NESO-2666-4G, is designed for Synology RackStations. This allows you to increase or replace the internal memory of your NAS with 4GB. Thanks to the high memory speed of 2666Mhz, your server or NAS works without any delay.

I had a Synology DS213J, an entry-level model. I have now bought this DS720 plus version, supplemented with 4GB internal memory and 2 x 2TB SSD drive. A breath of fresh air in terms of speed. The apps respond excellently on the NAS. Fast upload and download. Bearing in mind that I have a 200mb fiber optic.
