The device itself is fine (easy to connect, is sturdy), but it interfered enormously with our television as soon as it was connected to the power. That's why I sent it back and replaced it with a TP-Link switch that didn't work.

If you don't need a managed switch (don't really have one for home use either...) then this is recommended because of the favorable price. No installation required, plug in the power socket and click in network cables. Has been running at my house for several years and now also installed one at my son's house in a newly built house.

I had issues with my internet, used 2 older switches... replaced them with this Netgear, the problems were solved and I was suddenly able to add an Access Point via PoE for even more stable internet
