Description
The Eurom Mon Soleil 800 WiFi is an infrared ceiling heater with a power of maximum 800W. You can feel the heat at a distance of up to 10m. Thanks to the ceiling mount, this heater fits in every space. You do need a power outlet. You can connect the Mon Soleil Ceiling 800 to the Eurom app. With this, you can adjust the settings remotely and set a week timer, for example. This is useful, because the heater automatically turns on and off every day this way. You also get a Smart Plug thermostat with the heater. You can plug it into the socket, so you can also adjust the settings without app.

- Thermostat in supplied WiFi module is worthless. Due to this module's own power consumption, it becomes warm and then thinks that the room is degrees warmer than it actually is.

I keep walking to the not so smart smart plug to see if the panel is on at all. Panel really does help, but when winter starts I can still wear extra sweaters and turn on old-fashioned electric heaters. A disappointment for the money. Chose the heaviest 800w version because I was really looking for something in power, but this is not going well.

A good infrared panel should be at least 100 degrees warm. Preferably between 100 and 120 degrees.

We have known the Eurom IR panels for some time (wall panels). We have mounted this panel above the sofa in the living room as additional heating. That works perfectly. The Eurom panels can all be connected to the same app, which is handy. Then you don't have to operate multiple apps for the IR panels. The plug is inconvenient. It has been cast. It is rare that a WCD is mounted on the ceiling and installing a surface-mounted WCD is not an option. Now you have to cut off the plug and connect it directly to the central box. If the plug is detachable, it would not be necessary. That has not been well thought out. Compare it to an induction hob. It also does not come with a (molded) plug.
