The Polar H10 Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap Black M-XXL is indispensable for athletes who want to measure their heart rate accurately. The information is sent to your smartphone, smartwatch, or sports watch via Bluetooth. Note: this depends on the compatibility of your device. What's special about the Polar H10 is that it's waterproof to a depth of 30m and you can connect it to your GoPro HERO 4 and 5. This allows you to see your heart rate data in your video.

Note: only the Polar V800 sports watch can receive heart rate data while swimming.

Great treadmill but NOT for swimming.

The h10 is waterproof and can be used for swimming, but this feature is virtually worthless. The sensor on the tire is very thick and therefore captures too much water. During swimming, the sensor therefore continuously detaches from the skin (and so no measurements are taken). Great running belt, but the swimming feature just isn't right. Have the band at its tightest (which is very uncomfortable) and the band still comes loose. So I am quite dissatisfied with this purchase.

  • It also stays put when running.
  • Much more accurate than wrist heart rate measurement.
  • Responds very quickly, even with intervel training.
  • Pricey

Have a sports watch with wrist heart rate measurement but this is not very accurate. In combination with the H10 I now have very accurate results.
