How do you use your new Miele washing machine?

Before you do your laundry with your Miele washing machine, you should sort it. You can do this based on the color and the type of fabric. Every Miele washing machine works with CapDosing detergent capsules that you add to a separate compartment in the detergent drawer. The capsule has enough detergent to give a special treatment to your favorite clothing items. Miele has detergent capsules for wool, silk, and dark clothing, for example. It's also possible to use your own detergent, instead of CapDosing. You can add this to the detergent drawer in the regular way.

A Miele TwinDos machine automatically adds the right amount of detergent. The washing machine has 2 reservoirs with Miele detergent, UltraPhase 1 and 2. With Miele TwinDos, it's also possible to use your own detergent or fabric softener. You can add this via the detergent drawer or you can buy refillable reservoirs. If you see an error code on the display, the washing machine has an error. For example, when there's too much foam in the machine. Or if something is wrong with the water supply or drain. Don't panic. Luckily, there are many ways to solve this quickly and easily.
