The Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3 is a compact dash cam that doesn't stand out. The design has been renewed, so it fits behind the rearview mirror even better. That way, it doesn't block the sight of the driver. Thanks to the voice control, you can control the dash cam with your voice while you drive. This allows you to safely keep your hands on the wheel. The dash cam records in Full HD resolution and has a viewing angle of 140 degrees. Because of this wide viewing angle, it also records the lanes next to you. The G sensor senses it when you have an accident and automatically stores the footage of it. These recordings can't be overwritten, so you always have evidence of an accident.

Small, simple and just good enough.

  • Simple to use
  • App works well, no subscription needed
  • You can set few things in the app, such as the duration of the saved video

I like it because it is very small and has no frills. The quality of the screen and sound are okay. But as expected considering the price. The app works well, you can easily save saved images to your smartphone. It simply films everything and creates a separate file if you save a video while driving. You don't need that expensive Vault subscription for this. So it works as expected! Recommended!
