great disk as backup storage, no disk to hang actively on the computer all the time, looks like a dot-matrix printer is running. I have no idea what that thing is up to all day, but he's busier than me.

I find the usb 3 very slow .... much slower than my wd books. No idea about quality yet because just arrived.

on a mac it is always deleted automatically when the mac goes to sleep. previous seagate disks don't do this.
