Description

Protect your home from water damage with the Eve Water Guard and avoid expensive repair costs. The water detector uses a sensor cable, so it's the first to know that there's water on the floor. The water detector then gives a notification via a loud alarm and via the Eve iPhone app right away. The Water Guard doesn't work with Android devices. Pair the detector with a Homekit device such as an Apple TV or HomePod to also get notifications outside the house. Place the detector near your washing machine, bathtub, or sink, because this is where water damage is most likely to occur.

Excellent water detector, but unfortunately also one of the few of its kind that can detect water over a larger area. As a result, it may be very expensive.

If you want to receive leakage reports outside the home, you as a buyer/user are obliged to purchase expensive peripherals. A stand-alone, with a direct secure WiFi connection to the home network on battery is preferred. A battery would have been more convenient, especially in the event of leakage, and with it the risk of a short circuit.
