With the Philips HD9318/20 you can easily boil enough water for 7 cups of tea. That makes this kettle very suitable for families and handy if you're having people over. Thanks to the handy cup indicator, you'll know exactly how much water to boil for a cup of tea. That way, you'll boil just the right amount of water and save energy. Simply open the lid or fill up the kettle via the spout. The indicator light shows you if the kettle is turned on or off. The scale filter holds back lime particles and is easy to rinse under the faucet. If the water is boiled, the kettle switches off automatically.

I think it's a really nice kettle, it looks nice in the kitchen and is much nicer than my old one. It also seems to boil the water faster and there is a clear indication on the side how much water you need for how many cups. I now know exactly how much I need to fill the teapot. Furthermore, it seems a bit quieter than my old one, at least the sound is less disturbing. The lime filter is also an advantage for me, because the water here is very lime rich I am completely satisfied.
