How do you clean your deep fryer?

In addition to changing the frying oil, it's also important to regularly clean your deep fryer. This way, you make sure the deep fryer makes your fries nice and crunchy, and it's much more healthy. We'll give you a few tips on how to clean your deep fryer in this article.

Remove the connector from the socket and remove the oil from the deep fryer. Also don't forget to remove grease residues with a paper towel.

  • Tip 1: clean with dish soap
  • Tip 2: clean with a dishwasher tab
  • Tip 3: clean with a fryer cleaner

Tip 1: clean with dish soap

Add a bit of dish soap to hot water. It's best to use dish soap with lemon, because that degreases best and it smells extra fresh. With this soapy water, you can use a soft sponge to clean the inner pan, the basket, the lid, and the exterior of your deep fryer. Are there many caked food rests? Let it soak for a while. Don't use an abrasive sponge to scrub, because there's a bigger risk you'll damage the deep fryer.

Tip 2: clean with a dishwasher tab

It's a lot easier to clean deep fryers that you can disassemble, because you can simply put the parts in the dishwasher with a dishwasher tab. Check the manual beforehand to be sure the parts are dishwasher-safe.

Tip 3: clean with a fryer cleaner
