The AVM FRITZ! Box 4040 is a combination between a starter model router and a repeater. With this router, you can go online in the whole apartment, or on 2 floors in a small to medium-sized house. Thanks to the FRITZ!OS, you can configure your home network exactly as you wish. Create a separate network for your guests, block certain websites, or use the router as a NAS and access your files from anywhere in the world via the built-in VPN server. The wireless speed is suitable for average internet connections. You can connect the router to any modem for DSL, cable, or fiber.
