Philips Hue Solo Light Strip - White and Color - 5m

The light strip looks nice, it reminds me a lot of the light strip they already had. This one can also be put in other colors and is very good in terms of brightness. My first impression was very good and is a nice addition to the house. The installation in the hue app was super easy and was plug and play. Hanging the LED strip was more of a challenge for me. I have a textured wall and the LED strip does not stick well to it. On wooden frames the LED strip sticks really well, even when most of it was not glued it remained firmly stuck. I am still looking for a good solution to be able to attach the LED strip properly. If I need an LED strip in another place, this is definitely recommended.

Positive easily connected to the Philip Hue but unfortunately not connectable to a switched dimmer

I have not bought a product from the Philips Hue line before. I have bought the cheaper versions from the cheaper stores. These also worked fine, but in terms of quality I see a big difference. This light strip is much sturdier, the adhesive strip is sturdy and it is also handy that you can always loosen small pieces, so that you can carefully stick the strip to the surface. The quality of the light is top, there is also so much choice of colors and different scenes, really beautiful! In addition, I find the light strip in combination with the app of great added value. You don't even have to get up to turn on the light. The strip can also be linked to your Google Home and then you can even operate it by voice. It should be clear: I am a fan!
