Eufy X10 Pro Omni

The Eufy X10 Pro Omni is a complete robot vacuum cleaner that thoroughly cleans my floors. The extensive base station and the smart mopping function make it independent. Convenient packaging When I unpack the robot vacuum cleaner, I immediately notice that the packaging is cleverly designed. I immediately see an explanation of how to install the robot vacuum cleaner at the top of the box. This way I know exactly how to assemble the robot. There are stickers on the various parts of the robot vacuum cleaner and the base station. There is also a QR code included. This will install the app. The robot is then ready for use. Extensive base station The base station has many functions. Handy, because it means I do less work myself. I only fill the water tank and replace the dust bag every now and then. The robot indicates when I need to refill or replace, so I don't have to think about it. This was my first time trying a robot with self-cleaning mopping brushes, so I was really curious about this. The robot does the washing and drying independently, so this also requires no effort from me. The robot therefore prepares itself independently for the next cleaning round. However, it does make noise when emptying the dust container and drying the mop pads. So make sure he doesn't do this at night. Cleaning result I notice that the robot vacuums thoroughly. For example, I see that he vacuums the hairs of a carpet thoroughly. Crumbs disappear easily into the robot, leaving my floor neatly clean. The robot also removes stains from your floor with the mopping function. If a stain is really stubborn, some will remain on the floor. Of course, the robot does not scrub as thoroughly as if you do it yourself with a sponge. But the rotating mop brushes clean better than the wet cloth that other robot vacuums have. I also find it very useful that the mop brushes lift on carpet. I am used to setting a no-go zone for my carpet via the app, so that the robot does not drive over it with a wet mop. With this robot I don't have this problem. Smart robot I think the robot has many smart functions. This makes it clean neatly, because it moves around the house easily. The camera on the robot helps with this. This is how he finds his way through my things. The app is also well put together. This way I can adapt the robot's cleaning routine to my wishes. Handy, because it allows the robot to clean the way I want.

I am generally very happy with the device. It is my first robot vacuum cleaner and I have been using it for two weeks now. Due to poor health, I bought it, vacuuming myself is not feasible at the moment. It is very nice that a device takes over the heavy work for you. Easy to assemble, the app is pleasant to use and clear. It makes a floor plan the first time and it does this very accurately. Then I did the first test rounds. I put all the extension cords aside, cleared the floor, etc. I discovered that it kept turning circles under my bed (perhaps because of the height), so I set it under my bed as a forbidden zone. It now passes neatly there. It is a bit of a hassle the first few times with setting the zone precisely, but it is great that it is possible. I have now set 3 forbidden zones. I advise you to do this during the day the first few times you use it, where you stay, so that you can keep an eye on the things mentioned above. Then you can set scenarios, I am going to start with that now. Then, with 1 tap of the button, it will do exactly what you have set in advance. Vacuuming, mopping, or both at the same time, which rooms and which not, and so on. While it is cleaning, you can see exactly which route it takes and what it has and has not done (yet). It drives itself back to the station (adjustable in the settings) when it has to empty the dust and wash/dry the mops (it charges itself at the same time). It also announces when it is going to do this. It also indicates when the water needs to be changed (and I think also when the dust container needs to be emptied, but this has not happened to me yet). While emptying the dust, it makes a lot of noise for about 20 seconds. Very logical, but I did notice that it is nice that I have the station in my office (and therefore not living space). An experience from the last few days: it occasionally falters, then it seems as if it does not know its position properly, then it seems not to be going well for a moment. It also doesn't respond immediately when I tell it to go back to home base. I haven't figured out why yet. I just turned the device upside down for the first time and cleaned the brushes. I saw a huge amount of hair stuck. That might have something to do with it. Fortunately, cleaning it was pretty self-explanatory, how to detach the parts and I cut the hair away with scissors. I also went over the entire device with a dry cloth, so that everything should (continue to) work properly again. It was really nice that Coolblue sent an email about this a few days after purchase (tips for maintenance and articles about it), that makes it accessible to me. An expensive device? Yes. Would I have bought it if I could vacuum myself? No, not in my circumstances and for my budget. Of course, it doesn't clean like a human would. Am I happy with it? Yes. It does its job well and since I can't do it myself, I still have a clean floor and I'm very happy with that.

Started a few years ago in the world of robot vacuum cleaners/mops. My first Ecovacs worked fine for a year but kept hitting me and often got stuck. Then switched to an Irobot J7+ Combo. This broke after a year and mopping was just like any other robot bad. It was like a damp cloth on the floor. I have now used this Eufy more than 40 times and I am really enthusiastic! I don't have to worry about it and it cleans really well! Better than all its predecessors. Mopping is also really good and that surprised me. It has rotating pads that it rinses itself clean every so often. I was afraid that there would be a lot of water everywhere in and around the device but that is not the case. It really works perfectly. Best robot I have had in all those years! Also a great investment in terms of price!
