Sage Nespresso Vertuo Creatista SVE850BSS4EBL1 Brushed Stainless Steel

We had never heard of Nespresso Vertuo until I saw this machine. We thought it looked beautiful and as true luxury coffee lovers, the automatic milk frothing seemed very interesting to us.
When we unpacked we were immediately sold! What a beautiful device, it really looks beautiful. In any case, build quality and choice of materials seem perfectly fine! But most importantly, how's the coffee?
There is a Nespresso sample pack with 12 different cups to try out the different styles and flavors of coffee, so we can get started right away.

The machine recognizes the cup by a kind of barcode and automatically adjusts everything for that specific coffee. Top!
There are cups for espresso (40ml), double espresso (80ml), lungo (150ml), mug (230ml) and even a carafe (535ml). In all cases it is a matter of inserting the cup, placing the correct size glass underneath and pressing the button once. The machine does its job very quietly and half a minute later the coffee is ready.

It's just as simple for the milk variations: a separate stainless steel frothing cup is included with measuring marks on it. The 'recipe booklet' indicates how full it should be with milk and which milk temperature and foam level should be selected, and thanks to a temperature sensor, the machine keeps track of how far the process is. For example, for a cappuccino, the recipe is 1, 2, 2: milk carafe to line 1, temperature and frothing quantity both at setting 2 and with 1 push of a button the milk is frothed completely automatically. It even indicates whether the milk should be added before or after brewing.
To top it all off, there are coffee cups available for milk variations with different flavours: vanilla, hazelnut, caramel. These cups really give a noticeable taste as if there is such a syrup in it, without really tasting sweet. For example, a hazelnut cappuccino is made in no time!

Are there no downsides at all? Quite a few, for example, the cream layer of the coffee has a slightly different structure (less 'greasy/creamy' than with a normal espresso/piston machine). However, the taste is fine. Furthermore, the Vertuo cups are not yet available in supermarkets and must therefore be purchased online via Nespresso. These are not yet very cheap and also differ slightly per taste / size. And if you want to use the Nespresso carafe yourself (for the 535ml variants), make sure that it just doesn't fit underneath. So you will have to pour over here from a cup/container that does fit under the machine.

As you can see, we are really positively surprised by this beautiful Sage Vertuo Creatista and are very happy with it. So many different types of coffee can be made in an instant, really great. The downsides are only minor and we would definitely recommend this product for anyone who wants to make good coffee (with a focus on the milk variations) in an easy way!

With the Vertuo Creatista you can easily make different types of coffee, from lattes to espressos. You can also easily adjust the size of your cups via the machine. The machine also has a pipe with which you can froth milk. The machine knows how to froth the milk based on the type of coffee you have chosen. This way you can easily make delicious lattes and cappuccinos.

Cleaning the machine is easy thanks to the automatic cleaning program. A disadvantage is the cups that you have to use, which are only for these types of machines. The cups are therefore quite pricey.

The Nespresso Sage Vertuo Creatista deserves praise for its versatility and simplicity. This coffee machine effortlessly combines Nespresso's convenient capsule system with the ability to make a wide range of coffee creations. The intuitive touchscreen makes choosing your favorite coffee varieties a breeze, while the integrated steam wand allows you to make perfect milk froth for lattes and cappuccinos.
The Creatista is built to last, with robust construction and a contemporary design that will suit any kitchen. The only downside is the cost of the capsules in the long run, but for those who value quality and convenience, this machine is a fantastic choice for everyday coffee enjoyment.
