The eye wants something too. The design of this agency was ultimately the deciding factor. The whole is properly packed in two cardboard boxes, so there is minimal risk of any transport damage.

Assembling the rock-solid frame is a piece of cake. However, then the challenge begins. You have to align the top yourself on the frame before fixing it with 12 screws. Not a problem for someone with a carpenter's eye, if you are not handy then this step in the assembly process can be a challenge. For just under 700,- peak, I would have expected an innovative solution such as pre-assembled nuts in the top. Or, for example, a mounting form to determine the position of the screw holes. Because you have to screw on the top, it is now a kind of one-time fixed, never loose solution. If you ever decide to move and the top has to be disassembled, the question is whether you will ever get it fixed again.

It is a pity that no cable guides are included to neatly hide both the control panel and the power cable. So you have to come up with something for that yourself if you want to work it out neatly. A piece of double-sided tape or cable tie (tie wrap) works wonders.

All in all a beautiful desk, but the mounting of the top could be better.

The desk comes in 2 parts (the base and the top) and both parts are quite heavy. Quiet when adjusting the desk. If you adjust the desk and it experiences resistance, it goes back 2cm and stops moving, so that is well arranged. Control panel switches off the display after a short time. That's great if the desk is in your bedroom. There is a USB charging point on the right side of the control panel. I believe 5v 1A. Handy for the phone or headset. I would have preferred the point on the left (or one on both sides), but those are details of course...

Flexibility: desk can be quite high. A lot higher than I need (1.95m). The control panel can be mounted in several places, so that can come in handy. The base can be adjusted to different widths. If you ever want to use a 140 or 180 blade in the future, you can. I have now mounted a monitor stand on the desk and that also works well.

Overall, a standing desk is highly recommended. I find that I have more energy at the end of the day compared to a day where I sit all the time. When you're standing, you automatically move a bit more, so that's healthy.
