Description

With the Epson EcoTank ET-16600 all-in-one inkjet color printer, you get an office printer with low usage costs. The EcoTank printer uses ink tanks instead of cartridges. This means you'll only have to refill the ink after printing thousands of pages. The 4-in-1 ET-16600 prints up to A3+ paper size. This is ideal for detailed documents such as bus stop ads and other large designs that are unsuitable for A4 paper. Thanks to the ADF function, you can work productively with this printer. You can put up to 50 sheets at a time in the input tray and the printer will scan and copy all of them at once. Printing documents is fast with a print speed of up to 25 pages per minute for black and white prints. Waiting for the print jobs of your colleagues to finish is a thing of the past.

Good so far, I'm curious how the ink goes

I had previously reported that there was no A3 tray in it, but that is not correct. It is there, but you have to make the bottom drawer extra large by pressing a button. I had overlooked. By the way, it prints super fast!

Pricey, but a compact A3 all-rounder in use

  • Compact size for an A3 printer
  • Scan A3 via document feeder
  • No cartridges but ink tanks
  • Heavy paper (250 g/m2) cannot pass through the feeder

Pricey to purchase, but it pays off fairly quickly because the ink lasts longer than standard cartridges. I previously owned an HP A3 printer. Compared to that printer, it has a lower ink consumption and therefore lower running costs, a larger touchscreen than the HP, especially noticeable when you try to key in your WiFi password without typos and it has an A3 size document feeder, something the HP does not had. If, like me, you often want to scan several A3 sheets at the same time, this is really a relief.
