Compact, accurate and well priced

I bought this crosscut saw as a replacement for my Metabo KGS 216M. I wanted a crosscut saw that could cut wide pieces, but that didn't take up much space. Other crosscut saws in this price category have enormous sliding arms, which means that the saw is quickly about 70 cm deep: not ideal for the average workbench of 60 cm deep. And if you are looking for a compact crosscut saw, you will quickly find a device without a guide rail: so with a limited sawing width. This crosscut saw uses a smarter guide system, making it an incredibly compact device that doesn't get in the way quickly and can still cut up to 20 cm wide. In addition, the saw is almost immediately ready for use, no hassle with assembling parts and above all: extremely accurate. Where my previous crosscut saw often lacked the necessary precision, this one is perfectly accurate. The only downside I can find is the fact that not every vacuum hose can be connected to the saw. This requires a DeWalt Airlock connector. Not a disaster either, you can order these for a 10 euro. Would be perfect if this could be ordered. Conclusion: are you looking for a compact, accurate saw for a good price? This is it.

Bought the device because I had to make a fence with wooden parts of 22 cm wide that went perfectly! machine is right on speed because you can saw very quickly. less noise than the 1800w, and very easy to store.
