The grinder has a disc brake, so the disc stops rotating right away when you turn it off. You also prevent unexpected kickback with the anti-kickback protection if the 125mm grinding disc (not included) gets stuck. That's safe. Besides safe, the angle grinder is also comfortable in use. You can adjust the side handles easily with the 2 different settings.
