I had the original Apple one before that which 'floats' exactly. However, if you want to work with it as a tablet, you take the iPad off completely and then it is very vulnerable because it is without a cover. With this one, the protective cover remains around it and by means of magnetism you pull the keyboard loose from the tablet. The cover also feels more pleasant, much more pleasant than the one from Apple. The advantage of this is that you can also quickly remove the keyboard or fold it backwards and place the tablet on it. Disadvantage: the stand at the back is a bit less convenient to set up than the one from Apple, but I understand that this can be difficult with Logitech in this design. Also opening the cover when you take the tablet out of your bag, for example, works less smoothly, but I gladly accept these disadvantages, I clearly prefer this one over the original from Apple

Very easy to use

I would buy the keyboard again immediately. I hesitated for a long time between the original and this logitech because the price difference is not that big and the original feels a lot more robust. But the full protection around the ipad, the removable keyboard and the adjustable angle have sent me towards the logitech. I also draw and write on the ipad and this is not possible with the original case without removing it.
