I have a number of these guys, they are fast, enough to run virtual machines (especially old Win95 machines) and with 2 Terabytes it takes a while to fill it up. This happened to be on sale. You can throw SSDs in your bag without the risk of damage, but always disconnect them in Windows/Linus to prevent damage to the drive due to writing errors.

This SSD does not work optimally with Apple products with an M1 chip. It works fine on my old MacBook with an Intel processor. It took me 3 hours to figure out where the problem was. But after researching on the internet I discovered where the error lay. I returned the SSD to him and ordered the Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD 2TB V2. This works perfectly, is waterproof and of better build quality.
