BlueBuilt Car Phone Mount with Suction Cup Dashboard/Air Vent with Wireless Charging

Better than I expected

After some fiddling with the right location for the suction cup on my windshield and the right positions of turning, extending, angle, etc. It works perfectly. It is great to just place the phone in it, it is automatically grabbed by the gripper that presses down and then it is also charged wirelessly. Then when you want to get out, it automatically lets go. I honestly don't know if that is due to pressure on wanting to pull the phone loose, but I hold a finger behind the holder, where there are a few dots for recognition (braille-like) and then it lets go. I'm going to get another one for the other car!

Bought specifically for mounting on the dashboard. The 'lid' where you attach the suction cup has 3M tape on the back. Unfortunately, this does not stick to the (cleaned and degreased) dashboard. Advice from customer service was to heat the tape with a hair dryer and/or buy new tape. So that requires two extra investments. And if that does not work, you are still forced to attach the whole thing to the window with the suction cup. And that was exactly what I had not chosen.
