A device with strong assets

This wildcam remedies all the shortcomings of my previous device. The solar panels seem to be able to avoid using the AA batteries, so that they only serve as a backup. But winter is still coming. Let's wait and see before making a final judgment on this.
The app is simple but effective: you can view live images to set up your wildcam correctly, and you can view the images taken and possibly save them locally on your smartphone. You can also change the settings. I haven't opened my wildcam since I installed it. That says enough.
The wildcam always creates a WiFi hotspot when you request a connection via the app (via Bluetooth). It is not permanently connected to your home WiFi network. But this works flawlessly. You need approx. 20 sec. to connect each time, and the connection is automatically disconnected after an adjustable time to save battery.
Some concern: yesterday I photographed a walking fox, but it had already passed a few meters past the lens. Slow reaction to movement?
