Dyson Gen5 detect Absolute

As soon as I open the box of the Dyson Gen 5 detect Absolute, I see the different parts. I assemble the stick vacuum in a few clicks. Very easy, because it is clear how you put it together exactly. The motor unit fits well in the hand and the handle is not too heavy. I also think the vacuum cleaner looks beautiful and unique, but that is of course a personal preference. I first use the floor nozzle with anti-tangle technology. The brush spins and I immediately see the dirt rise from the floor. I can read on the display what the Piezo sensor exactly perceives. This way I immediately see how thoroughly I vacuum, a nice extra. The other floor brush, with the light beam, provides a good insight into the amount of dirt on the floor. I rolled the brush under a table and immediately saw how much dirt was really on the floor. I did not see this with the naked eye. With one click I remove the stem from the motor unit. I'm curious how the vacuum cleaner works on my furniture, so I grab the screw-shaped tangle-free brush for this. Because the vacuum cleaner is light enough, I can easily clean the upholstered chair. I notice that a lot of dirt comes off, while the chair looked quite clean. The vacuum cleaner sucks really powerfully, especially in combination with the rotating brush. If you use the most powerful setting, the battery will of course run out a lot faster. Unique to this new Dyson is the integrated dust and crevice brush. I was therefore curious how this would be used. It's handy that you don't get a separate attachment. That way you won't lose it. The handle slides around the dust and crevice brush when you place it. So you won't be bothered by an accessory hanging from the handle when you vacuum. Very convenient to switch during your cleaning job. After vacuuming, I can easily empty the dust container over the trash can. You pull the handle and the box opens. This way the dust and dirt falls out immediately. Emptying the dust container is therefore also done in no time.

We were looking for a different vacuum cleaner because our current cordless vacuum cleaner caused our dog's hair to get stuck in the brush. This is really not the case with this Dyson. With a full battery I can vacuum our living room for 4 days and it doesn't take long to charge. The integrated petty thief works well, but you have to set it to the highest setting. I think it's a shame that you can't extend the nozzle further so that you can suck away the cobwebs just as high up on the ceiling. The automatic mode allows you to use the battery for longer and the device vacuums hard or softly where it is needed. The device is somewhat more expensive than similar vacuum cleaners in the same class, but I think Dyson distinguishes itself in terms of reliability, suction power, battery life and specially designed suction nozzle.
