Description
With the TP-Link Tapo T100 smart motion sensor, you can automate smart home devices and secure your home. You can place this sensor in a room or near the door to switch TP-Link Tapo smart devices on and off. This way, your Tapo smart lights and smart plugs turn on when you walk into a room. Leaving again? The devices switch off again. In the Tapo app, you can choose which devices you connect to a sensor. You can also set the motion sensor as security. You can then sound an alarm if there's movement while you're not at home. You also receive a notification of this in the Tapo app.

You can set promotions in combination with other tapo products. For example, with the Tapo C210 you can have the camera look at a point where a movement is detected at that moment. Unfortunately, this function does not work on the c500

Works fine even in places where the connection is low, but there is a very big downside: you can only get a notification on your home screen that there has been movement, without sound or anything, and there is nothing you can do about this, but you can Set an alarm via the hub, but then the burglar is warned instead of you, while you just have to be lucky that you happen to be looking at your phone. Handy for the burglar, but not for you. And while it is all possible when a camera detects movement, you can even choose the alarm tone, so if you use it for security, you better look further.
