This washing machine has a sleek appearance and looks great in my bathroom. But apart from its good appearance, this machine works very well. The machine is quiet, responds quickly and has plenty of space for laundry. I wash my clothes quickly and I have less trouble with ironing. This machine is a good choice if you are looking for ease of use.

First impression
The first thing I notice about this new Siemens washing machine is the display. When the screen is off, the entire display is black. As soon as I press the button, all programs and options appear on the screen. The washing machine has a very modern look and responds quickly to my touches. I find that very pleasant with a touchscreen. Some fingerprints remain on the screen, but I wipe them away in a moment.

Spacious, economical and quiet
One of the things that strikes me about this machine is that the drum is very spacious. I live alone and mainly do my own laundry. Still, I really like having a spacious drum. This way I also have enough space for all my bedding, towels or sometimes my curtains. When the program is running, I notice that the machine is very quiet during the spin cycle. This is ideal in my small apartment, because it means I don't have to worry about noise when I work from home. I also see on the energy label that the machine has energy class A. This way I save a lot on my energy bill.

SpeedPack XL
This washing machine has a SpeedPack XL. I have various functions that allow me to clean my laundry faster. I like that, because I like to quickly wash an outfit regularly. On the screen I see that I have shortened the long cotton programs considerably with varioSpeed. There is also a handy program for a 15 or 30 minute refresher wash. Great for my lightly worn shirt. My favorite program is powerSpeed 59'. This allows me to clean half a drum of laundry in one hour. I use this program the most because I don't save a lot of clothes for myself. That saves me washing time.

smartFinish
If there's one thing I'm not a fan of, it's ironing. That is one of the reasons why this washing machine suits me well. With the smartFinish program, the machine removes wrinkles from my shirts with steam. I take my wrinkled clothes out of the closet and put them in the drum. After 20 minutes I notice that there are considerably fewer wrinkles in my clothes. I do find the shirts quite damp and there are many wet spots on them. So I hang them up to dry for a while, so that I can wear them later for my work appointment.
