Canon EOS R6 Mark II + RF 50mm f/1.8 STM

I think the Canon EOS R6 Mark II is a very user-friendly camera, which is suitable for novice to professional photographers. I can easily take this camera with me, so I walk into town. I use it with the RF 24-105mm f/4 lens and notice that my hands get tired quickly. With a light prime lens, you can easily take the camera with you for a whole day.

Accurate autofocus tracking The autofocus of this camera works very fast. In a busy shopping street he recognizes people, cars, trams and dogs. A big advantage is the autofocus tracking. This keeps a moving subject accurately and sharply in focus. When the cyclist I'm following disappears behind a tree, the camera focuses directly on her as she emerges from behind. You select a subject of your choice, but in busy places the camera sometimes switches too quickly to a different subject.

Speed The camera shoots very quickly at 40 frames per second. This allows me to capture every movement of passers-by. I shoot a running dog and don't miss any of the action, resulting in cute shots. The camera does not buffer quickly when I take many photos in a row.

Eye Detection The eye detection of this camera deserves extra attention, because it works very well. The camera automatically focuses on people's eyes, so I can quickly take portrait photos. The camera focuses on the closest eye. If you do not want this, you can indicate a preference for left or right in the settings.

Filming in 4K at 60 fps without crop I also easily make videos with this camera. I shoot these images in high 4K quality at 60 frames per second. An advantage is that the EOS R6 Mark II takes these images without a crop. Most cameras crop the image in this resolution, so you lose parts of your image. That is not the case with this camera, so I use the full image.
