The MSI Optix G27CQ4 E2 is a 27-inch QHD 170Hz curved gaming monitor for gamers who don't like screen tearing. Thanks to the 170Hz refresh rate, you can experience every game fluently and without screen tearing. The 1ms response time prevents ghosting, so you can focus on your game. You can also enjoy sharp graphic thanks to the QHD resolution, which is 2 times sharper than Full HD. Sometimes, your video card is a bit too fast for the screen. Have an AMD video card? FreeSync Premium matches the number of frames of your video card to the refresh rate of your monitor. This allows you to experience fast shooters and racing games without tearing and stuttering, even when you game in HDR. Ready for an immersive gaming experience? In a way, the curved design bends the screen around your field of view. This makes it look like you're right in the middle of your game. Turn on first person view while you're in a cockpit or racing car, for example. The G27C4 is also compatible with the next gen consoles, like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Connect these to the HDMI 2.0 port and play games at 60Hz in QHD on the Xbox, and at 120Hz in Full HD on the PS5.
Note: the maximum refresh rate via HDMI is 144Hz. If you want to game at 170Hz, you'll have to connect the monitor via DisplayPort.

I bought this screen mainly to use for the Playstation 5. And I noticed a difference with my old screen almost immediately. The quality of the image is very good. I read online that on the PS5 you could only use 120hz if you play 1080p, but this is not correct. You can play 120hz at 1440p and even at 2160p with this monitor. So the resolution is even better. I am also very satisfied with the curve of the image. My conclusion: the perfect screen for gaming on the PS5 in terms of price-quality.

Great monitor colors look great. It has some backlight bleeding, but you only see that with a black screen in a dark room. Of course, you can get a better one for more money. The curve is not disturbing for office work, but does not really come into its own due to the size.

Bought a 2nd monitor next to my other MSI. In theory this is its smaller brother but much cheaper. You notice that the quality is just as good as the MSI MAG, with the only downside being that it is not adjustable in height. But the standard height already fits well on many desks. Furthermore, the operation is very easy (plug and play) and you can adjust a lot for special game settings if you wish. Looks almost as sharp as the LG 27GP line, which is still considered the best in the range.
