Just a little too short for the SATA connection higher up on my motherboard, it just fit in the lower one, but I could have checked this myself.

Good cable if you don't get it included with your drive, check before you buy it with a wire in your computer which way it has to travel so that you know whether it is long enough, I had not done this in advance.

Previously good experience with Samsung 870 EVO 1T for my laptop 3 years ago. Now the OC is up and the free Samsung software downloaded to migrate the 'old' ssd 512GB in my PC to the new 990 EVO 2T. The ASRock motherboard has an Ultra Gen3 ssd slot and a Hyper Gen4 m2 ssd slot so I bought this super fast 990 EVO Gen4 but unfortunately it turned out afterwards that my Intel i5 gen10 did not support this hyper Gen4 slot. That is only possible with an Intel from the 11th generation. The Samsung 990 EVO 2T is now in the other ultra gen3 m2 ssd slot and works fine (I only do not reach the hyper Gen4 speeds).
