With the large zoom range of the Canon RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM, you can easily take photos of subject that are far away. You can use this lens on Canon EOS R mirrorless cameras with an APS-C sensor. These cameras have a crop factor of 1.6, so the lens is zoomed in even more. This makes it suitable to take photos of athletes from the sidelines of the field, for example. The built-in image stabilization prevents motion blur. You can use shutter speeds that are up to 7 stops slower when you take photos by hand. If you use the lens at 18mm, you have a wide image angle which allows you take photos of landscapes. For a zoom lens with this range, the lens is very light. This allows you to easily take it on the go.

When using an APS-C system camera: The photos are sharp in the center, but then a halo forms on empty surfaces such as air. A crop of the photo is therefore possible, but especially of the center. The corners of the photo are sometimes blurry, while this is not logical considering the distance between the object.
