I don't write many reviews about this device, but I still want to say a few things about things that I noticed after a week or 2. I certainly do not think this is a bad device, the individual parts such as screen, cameras, fingerprint scanner and more all seem fine. The basis of the device, the platform or the soc if you want, the Exynos 2200 is a different story. There is a lot of reading and viewing material about this on the internet. Many users seem to prefer versions of the S22 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon soc, as supplied in most of the world, over the Exynos version, available in Europe and (I think) South Korea. That Exynos would be a bit slower, in benchmarks at least. What bothers me most is the erratic performance behavior, the lack of consistency or continuity in performance. One minute the S22 is running super smooth, 2 minutes later you're annoyed by stuttering scrolling in a simple web page, turning off the dark mode that apparently lasts for several seconds or the fingerprint scanner that takes 3 to 4 attempts to register your finger .... I'm not a heavy user and have features like bluetooth, location, customizable screen refresh disabled by default. All apps and android software are also up to date. After years of being an Apple user, I still find this a strange experience: simple operations that apparently still pose a problem.... in 2022. Ultimately, it is about the user experience and not about a few percent difference in (synthetic) benchmarks. Hopefully the above problem can still be solved with the necessary software updates.... Conclusion: a recommendation? Maybe, but not with the current level of performance and not with such a price tag.

Sleek phone, very nice design. In my eyes a lot nicer than the S21 But that's about it. I will give my honest opinion as a loyal Galaxy S series user (from S2) The phone is not what I expected. You would think that with a new S Model there are upgrades. This is not so bad with this model, in fact there is even a downgrade, namely the battery The battery is really seriously bad (3700mAh) as several reviews on the internet indicate. Not enough to get 7 hours of screen time. So you'll never make it to the day. I'll try it out for a few more days because I've had it for a few days now. But I am seriously considering returning a Samsung phone for the first time because of dissatisfaction. This is only for the battery, the rest is manageable. A new phone, with such a bad/low battery capacity from the factory. Can you check how the battery will perform in 1.5 years.

Battery life is so bad. How is it possible? Do people shoot to the moon but can't make a decent battery
