Saeco Xelsis Suprema SM8889/00

I find the Saeco Xelsis Suprema very pleasant to use. I can choose from 20 types of coffee via the large touchscreen color display. I make every cup of coffee exactly to my taste by, for example, adjusting the cup size, temperature and amount of milk foam. Keep in mind that the coffee machine is quite large. Compose your own coffee recipes I think the biggest plus of this machine is the extent to which you adjust the coffee specialties to your liking. When I started brewing a latte macchiato, I could very easily change the settings via slider bars. This way I could make the coffee more or less strong, I could add more or less milk and adjust the amount of foam. I was also able to adjust the temperature and flavor intensity of the coffee. So really a lot of options. I could immediately save the recipes that I put together under my own profile. Very handy! User comfort I find the coffee machine very pleasant to use. The touchscreen color screen is very large and can be operated in the same way as your smartphone. The coffee specialties are shown as images, so that you can easily choose. When the water reservoir was empty, I automatically received a notification. You can easily adjust the coffee spout, so that a tall latte macchiato glass or a to-go cup also fits underneath. When I disconnected the milk container, I saw that there is a holder on the side of the machine to neatly store the milk hose. Many different coffee specialties I choose from 20 different coffees. My favorites, the flat white and cortado, are also among them. It is also possible to put a cup of warm milk or hot water. I regularly take coffee with me on the road. That is why I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the option 'to go cup' among the coffee specialties. Other settings I adjust the brightness of the screen via the settings menu. A nice surprise was the option to switch on the lights at the coffee spout. For example, they switch on automatically when you start making a cup of coffee. This looks very fancy. Sound during brewing The coffee machine makes quite a lot of noise during the brewing process. If you have visitors over the floor, it is difficult to understand each other while making coffee. I don't find this very disturbing myself, because the coffee brewing goes quickly.

Of course I doubted because of the price, but after already having experience with a coffee bean machine and enjoying coffee very much, I have now taken the step and bought the Seaco Xelsis Suprema. This has a large display which has quite a high gadget content. A luxurious look with great ease of use and adjustment options. Adjustment options are often a limitation, but the large animated touchscreen display guides you step by step through this process. Choose from coffee specialties known and unknown to me. All easily adjustable in how much coffee, coffee strength, amount of milk, taste intensity, temperature (!), foam height and order of milk. Because when you have found your perfect composition you can create your own profile (just like the rest of your household), you have your favorite choice within easy reach. Cleaning is a job that is also part of it, of course, if you keep this up, the machine will always remain clean for making fresh coffee. The Seaco has a handy function for keeping the milk tube clean, for example. The machine also indicates when, for example, the drip tray or coffee grounds container needs to be emptied. In short, not an entry-level model, but one with many possibilities, a cool design and most importantly (whatever you can expect for this price) deliciously tasteful coffee!
