Description

You can stream your games and show your emotions to your viewers with the Elgato Facecam Full HD Streaming Camera. This webcam records in Full HD quality at 60 frames per second. That way, you're clearly visible to your audience, and they won't miss a moment when your face is tense with excitement. With the universal clamp, you can place the webcam on nearly any monitor. Tilt the camera so you're in frame and start streaming. Done with streaming? Place the included privacy cover over the lens, which also keeps the lens clean.

best webcam i've seen

  • beautiful sharp image
  • nice software, everything adjustable
  • reasonable wide angle but little distortion
  • anti-noise a bit aggressive (lose details)

I chose this cam because I mainly wanted good image quality. This cam has no microphone, and everything is focused (!) on the image. And that image is great! HD at 60fps works fine; 4K would only be useful if you have a wall-to-wall monitor, which I don't, so I don't miss 4K resolution at all. Beautiful image with this cam, and super sound with my Fifine microphone: top combination! I can only recommend this webcam, just like almost all other users do. The only one with a slightly less positive review is PCMagazine, but there, among other things, the lack of a microphone is regarded as a drawback, and too much noise was found in poor lighting conditions. Well, that seems logical to me, and then you have to ensure good lighting...

Elgato makes excellent equipment for home (work) studio.

  • Decent camera
  • Very good lens
  • Beautiful image (even in low light)
  • Loose lens cap (a bit difficult to place and remove)

Works well on Surface Pro 4 via Surface Dock (1st version). Also with MS Teams. Requires a lot of processing power.
