With the second generation Ring Alarm Range Extender, you can extend the reach of your Ring Alarm at home. That way, you keep all sensors connected to the alarm system in a larger house as well. The range extender has a different button and light indicator than its predecessor. You plug the range extender in the socket in a suitable spot. Thanks to the 24-hour backup battery, the device also works when the power is shut off. To use the range extender, you always need a Ring base station.
