AEG AWK04 Window Seal Kit

The idea is nice but the execution is bad. Window clamp is attached with stickers that release quickly (no wooden frames so I have to rely on stickers), the cloth for window opening above and below do not fit well around the window sealant itself, so that warm air still blows in. We had to make extra adjustments ourselves (glue the window clamp with extra duck tape, extra Velcro tape on the kit itself and partly behind the entire colossus). We have been using this for 2 days now, with no wind (attic window faces west...). I don't dare to use this kit if it's a bit windy, I think the whole thing will blow into the room. The cloths and Velcro stickers to attach the cloth are dark gray and do not fit in most interiors in my opinion (why not white or 2 colors included?). For the amount of 100,- I really expected more from AEG. The manufacturer should give better directions on when to use this product and when not to. Disappointing.

Only fits when it concerns a window with a sill, so not as shown in the product image. Closure is always open. Whole is very cheap and only appropriate in very specific cases that are not clearly defined by the manufacturer.

It may be positive that you get the feeling that you can get the heat out of the house after all. Furthermore, actually very disappointing, because the installation takes quite a long time, while you can already see it going wrong as soon as the double-sided tape on the button releases with the strap that should hold your window against the drain and the frame. The result is a large gap between the drain and the window and yet the idea that the heat can easily return. And then you spent 2 hours worrying about it... This should be better... but haven't been able to find it anywhere yet.
