The smart radiator thermostat from Tado doesn't work with all brands of radiator valves. Check beforehand which brand of thermostat knob you currently have.
With this Tado Smart Thermostat V3+ Starter Pack with 3 knobs, you can heat a house with a boiler, heat pump, or district heating. The Thermostat works with almost all heating systems. You can set the 3 radiators individually with the included radiator thermostat. The V3+ is compatible with smart platforms such as Google Assistant, Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and IFTTT. You can control the thermostat wherever you are via the Tado app. With the Quick Actions function, you can adjust the temperature in multiple rooms at the same time. Because the thermostat is constantly connected to your smartphone, it knows exactly when you're near your home (geofencing). This means you won't have to heat your home unnecessarily, which saves you a lot of money.
You need the Tado Plus subscription to use functions such as geofencing and open window detection.
For the wired connection of the thermostat, connect the thermostat to the wires of your current thermostat. Want to use the thermostat wirelessly? You need the extension kit to fully connect the thermostat. This isn't included by default.
