With the Philips B97, you'll get a sound setup for a home cinema. On the ends of the soundbar are 2 removeable speakers. Set them up behind you and enjoy a 7.1.2 set with surround sound. The sound seems to come from above you, thanks to the Dolby Atmos technique. The soundbar has 2 upward-pointed speakers, so the sound is directed to your listening position via the ceiling. This way, your movie a series sound more alive. Do you have a Philips OLED television? You can connect this set to it seamlessly. Control the soundbar with voice commands via the Google Assistant, or integrate the speakers in your smart home for smart controls.

First impression is really great, too many options to try them all in a short time. Sound is warm and clear, the dolby atmos is a really nice experience at home. Perhaps fair to report that the TV is also a Philips with Fidelio, so I don't know if everything is so easy with other brand TV.

Sound quality is top notch! TV, movies and music all sound good. Listened from classical to metal, Pink Floyd, Chopin, Rammstein and it all sounds clean and I don't miss a note. Works well with the TV and automatically recognizes all suitable Dolby variants. Settings allow you to perfectly match the sound to your taste or mood.
