Great device with some flaws
- Large, beautiful 120hz OLED screen
- Screen to body ratio
- Android 11 + Oxygen OS
- Cameras (but isn't terrible)

According to our mobile phone expert
The OnePlus 8T 128GB Green 5G charges super fast and has 128GB storage. You can take beautiful photos with the 4 cameras on the back of the device. In addition to the 48-megapixel standard camera, you can use the 16-megapixel wide-angle lens to photograph large buildings and sweeping landscapes. The large 4500mAh battery can be charged at lightning speed with Warp Charge 65. Thanks to this fast charging technique, you can charge the OnePlus 8T more than 50% in 15 minutes. After 40 minutes, the battery is completely full. Thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 865 processor and 8GB RAM, this smartphone is suitable for the most demanding tasks. This allows you to play heavy 3D games without any lags, for example. Animations in these games and your Instagram timeline look smooth, because the screen refreshes 120 times per second. The 6.55-inch Full HD screen is large, so it's difficult to operate it with one hand.

After years of being an iPhone user, I switched from my iPhone X to the OnePlus 8T, largely because I didn't want to spend 1000+ euros on a mobile phone (and the iPhone 12 still only has a 60hz screen). I have to say that I was a bit scared to go back to Android, because I didn't have good experiences with this in the past (galaxy S6). I was always very satisfied with iPhone. I've had this phone for several months now and haven't regretted the switch for a second! I had to get used to the large format at first, but I am definitely a fan of large screens. The screen itself is beautiful too, I could never go back from an OLED to an LCD. The pixel density is a lot lower with this OnePlus 8T than with my iPhone, but this has never bothered me, you don't notice this unless you look very close to the screen, but FHD is certainly sufficient. The 120hz refresh is great, everything is mega smooth and your mobile seems really blazing fast, when I look back at a 60hz mobile screen everything seems to falter. The performance is also great with the SD 865, a flagship processor that can handle everything Android can run, so this mobile is also suitable for gaming. I'm definitely a fan of OxygenOS, it's a pretty clean layer over Android 11 and everything is nice and sleek. I personally find this a deal breaker at Samsung, for example, because this is not the case. You can of course solve this with a launcher. You can also adjust the interface in many areas with OxygenOS (such as font, accent colors, always on display, color of the light bars, etc.) The charger that comes with it is super fast! After half an hour my mobile phone is fully charged. OnePlus makes this possible by inserting two separate batteries into the device that charge individually. I'm just a bit concerned if this is very healthy for the battery life. The battery does not last as long as I expected, I have to charge it at least 2x a day, with my iPhone 1x was enough for a day. This doesn't bother me much now, because it loads so quickly. The cameras are a bit in between, are they terrible? New. But it is not a flagship camera in my opinion. Especially on apps like Snapchat, the quality deteriorates very fast compared to my iPhone, my friends immediately realized that I had an Android. The camera performs well in general, but if you are looking for the best smartphone camera, this is not the one. A few more minor flaws: The stereo speakers are disappointing, they advertise this on their website, but it sounds very sharp without depth, the top speaker is also a lot quieter than the bottom speaker. The audio you record with it really doesn't sound good either. I am very satisfied with the purchase of this device and have not regretted the switch from iPhone for a second. I definitely recommend this device, you really can't go wrong with it. You won't find a better smartphone for 599!

A good all-rounder with fast hardware and good software without too many bells and whistles. The cameras are a bit disappointing, especially the very redundant macro and monochrome cameras
