Description
The Boya BY-M2 Lavalier Microphone with Lightning Cable is an omnidirectional microphone you can use to record interviews and presentations. Thanks to the tie pin, you can easily attach the microphone to your outfit. The microphone doesn't get in the way and you have complete freedom of movement. The microphone consists of 2 parts, the microphone with a 3.5mm connector and a Lightning adapter. This allows you to connect the microphone to your iPhone and iPad. You can also use it to make hands-free calls, for example. The included windscreen reduces wind noise during a call or when you're recording.

Does what it promises. the 360° cardioid pattern may not be the perfect choice every time, since it's supposed to be a clip on mic for voice capture

Great sound for a relatively cheap mic. In principle, it is only for iOS, but also works on a GoPro (remove the adapter plug). The wire is very long and clumsy.

Easy to connect to my iPhone and was immediately recognized as a microphone. Used outdoors in moderately windy conditions and gave a sound clear enough for a simple interview. Not top quality, but can serve perfectly for social media, etc. There are not many options or settings, but that is not necessary, because that would detract from the convenience. The cable was just long enough to get a good picture of the interviewee.
