Description
You can improve the audio quality of your videos with the Boya BY-BM2021 Supercardioïde Shotgun Microphone for SLR cameras. Because you mainly direct this shotgun microphone towards the audio source, the microphone only records sound from the front. This is useful during an interview, for example. Combined with the included windshield, this reduces ambient noise in your recordings. The ABS casing and integrated shock absorber ensure you can record audio with minimal vibrations and background noises. With the included TRS and TRRS cables, you can easily connect the microphone to your camera or other recording equipment that has a 3.5mm connector. The camera powers the microphones, so you don't need any batteries.

Fits well on Panasonic FZ1000 Photo Camera. I bought this mic because internal mic was slightly softer and this external mic is clearly better than internal mic. So picks up more sounds. Other than that I can't judge much about it myself, this is my first shotgun microphone, and I say take a look at my link and then you can hear it. Only that storage bag is a bit too small and tight and that your microphone has to be stuffed very well and carefully.

For the price I chose this one, the intention is to use this microphone sporadically and it therefore meets my expectations. I agree with other reviews regarding the storage pouch, this is a serious miscalculation by the manufacturer. it is a nice bag but not usable for this microphone, it is centimeters too small.
