WD My Passport Ultra 5TB Blue

I ordered the backup disk and was happy when it arrived a couple of days later. Had to format it for Mac as it was formatted for Windows. Had tremendous difficulty in trying to format this hard disk. I repeated the process four or five times. Then I finally got it working and it kept stopping with the time machine back up multiple times, as the USB-C was extremely sensitive. After multiple times of not being able to conclude the time machine backup, I tried to reformat it, and that did not work at all. Finally, after trying many many times with formatting, backing up, and starting again, I gave up. I looked up what was closest Cool Blue store and I brought the hard disk back. The service department there confirmed that there were many problems with this hard disk WD my passport Ultra and suggested another device. However, that device was not available now. The service person asked me if I would like a refund or an alternative device, which she suggested. That alternative device was not available in time so I took the refund and then tried to post a review. This is the third time because the other two were not posted.
