Now this has all been solved and everything works nice and fast and without hitches. Through parent control I determine when the Kids are allowed and not allowed on the wiffi, I can also keep an eye on their surfing behavior. The installation was really easy and ready within 20 minutes, anyone can do this. You can easily switch off the LEDs on the stations in the app, so that you are not bothered by flickering lights at night In short, highly recommended for someone who just wants a good fast and non-faltering Wi-Fi connection.

So you get what you pay for with this hardware. It is less expensive than the competition for a reason that it is not a complete product. If something does go wrong with the network you will have no idea what is happen as all the units in the network will disconnect all devices including the phone so that the Deco app will not connect to the router to see if it is a problem with the router or the modem. The powerline feature is completely useless as you have no way of knowing it is working or not and there is no way to test if it is working or not. I would recommend getting a Netgear, Google, or Ubiquiti Mesh router setup over TP-Link Deco units.

I've been looking for something that really works for a long time. Was first looking for the 7 but now went for the P9 with faster powerline, the extra connection. It works really well really everywhere in the house wifi now. Installation was very simple with the app. Make sure to check how your modem is set up.
