Description

With the Philips Hue Impress Outdoor Wall Lamp Narrow, you provide your garden with atmospheric lighting. Mount the lantern to the wall or fence and connect them to a Hue Bridge. With the Hue app, you can create the perfect atmosphere in your garden. Set the lighting to all colors of the rainbow or choose a pleasant shade of white. That way, you always create the right atmosphere in your garden. You can set a warm light to relax, or cheerful and colorful lighting during a garden party. Integrate Hue with other services and make the lamp switch on automatically at sunset.

Note: this Philips Hue outdoor lighting only works in combination with a bridge.

Top lamp!

I bought two of these outdoor lamps for our backyard. I use them in combination with a Philips Hue outdoor sensor. I have set the lamp to a timer via the app. They are then set to the 'Relaxed' atmosphere with half the brightness. When moving, the lamp goes to the 'Bright' atmosphere with full brightness for 1 minute. What I think is cool is that the lamps do not suddenly switch on when they are (de)activated or when they are moved, but gradually (say fade in or fade out). It is also good to know that this lamp can only be hung with a power supply that comes from the wall (so no surface power). So I had to cut a piece out of the steel housing and drill some holes on the inside. Then seal it again to make it waterproof. Looks neat and works well, but be aware.
