Atmospheric lighting, recommended!

  • Easy connection
  • Solid fixture and mounting
  • No black screws in color included for wall mounting

Installed 6 Hue Lilly spots and Calla pedestal during renovation of our backyard. Needed 4 extension cables. Connection is clear and simple. Operation in an existing Hue setup is of course super clear. We have 4 spots in the ground and 2 on the back wall in our canopy. You can easily reach the maximum length of 35 meters, depending on the situation, of course. Luminous intensity in colored light is less than in the white tones. Beautiful in blue and light white colors recently tried with the snow. Curtains to the garden no longer have to be closed, the lighting ensures that you feel connected to the garden when it is dark. We look forward to spring! Pricey, but it is also not much out of step with other garden lighting such as In-Lite.

A nice set to start your HUE garden lighting!

  • Nice sturdy metal housing
  • Screw plate, prod and extension included
  • Easy to connect
  • Extension cords are 5m, shorter could be more convenient

This is a nice set to start your HUE garden lighting with! Everything is there to illuminate your garden with 3 spots and to expand it later if necessary. The set is very complete: there are various mounting materials with which you can pierce the lamps in the ground or screw them to something. The lamps are made of metal and feel solid. The lamps can be set in a full color spectrum, but I mainly use the warm white light. The color temperature is easy to set and can approach the colors of the old-fashioned light bulbs well. With all HUE options, there is plenty of room for creativity: you can set zones so that you can easily illuminate certain parts of your garden differently. Especially with the motion/light sensor and schedules, you can automatically turn everything on or off as desired. Think about how many lamps you want to connect to one plug: the supplied power supply is 40W and can therefore feed a maximum of 5 small Lily spots, if you eventually want more or other lamps (Lily XL), then it might be better to order a 100W power supply (or an additional 40W power supply). I myself have the spots fairly close to each other so the 3 pieces of 5m cord is a bit overkill, luckily you can also order separate cords of 2.5m. The cables are IP68, so they can lie in the water, very nice! With the supplied T-pieces it is very easy to connect and expand everything, the T-pieces also fit together so that you can place several lamps close to each other. Registering the lamps can be a bit difficult, my tip is to switch it on indoors (near your bridge) and search for the S/N codes, within a minute everything was added in the HUE app. Some find the lighting pricey, but if you compare it with other outdoor lighting, I think this is not too bad. The added advantage is that you can easily expand it so that you can start small. In addition, it is low voltage, so you can simply run the cables over the ground and do not have to mess with ground cable.

Just good, what we are used to from Philips Hue

  • Plug and play, 1 transformer and a maximum of 5 spots
  • Robustness of the housings, cabling and connectors
  • 24 volt system which is easily expandable (max 5 spots) and a maximum cable length of 35 meters
  • A maximum of 5 spots on 1 transformer

We have placed a total of 5 spots, all of which illuminate our fence from bottom to top. You can create a beautiful atmosphere in the garden. Via the Hue app you can switch the lights on at sunset and off when the sun rises. Energy efficient partly due to the 24 volt system.
