great precise and sharp drawing screen I can't live without

  • flat screen
  • draws like paper
  • handy pen storage clip on top
  • heavy

Technically it's fine, sharp and precise! The remote control is included, but on the old tablets the buttons were built in, which was a bit more convenient. I keep having trouble with the remote control cord. You should also always turn on the remote control when you are not using it for a while.

Not cheap, But value for money

  • Large workspace
  • Good display panel
  • good pen
  • Standard is extra (€600+!!!!)

Wacom tablets are pricey, but you get what you pay for. For years I have enjoyed the Cintiq 21ux. Bought, used and sold a Huion tablet for a short period last year. And back to the 21ux again. In January I switched to the Cintiq 16. And now to the Cintiq 24 pro. And it offers the "it works" way I'm used to from Wacom. High resolution allows me to work on my drawings at almost full resolution.

The disadvantage is that you do need a sturdier computer to make applications such as clip studio not feel like a slide show. You need fast and a lot of memory for that. In principle, it has nothing to do with the tablet, but you should remember when you upgrade that you also have a suitable PC.

Issues:
- Logo on the back is smeared (see photo). I suspect this is a manufacturing defect.
- And I found fingerprints on the screen itself even though I hadn't touched it yet. What I suspect is that the box has already been opened, the seals were closed before I opened it. So maybe a factory error?
- I switched PCs and installed the most recent drivers. The express key remote worked, but the remote was not visible in the wacom desktop application. Rolling back to the old version worked

Confirmed my expectation of it.

  • Format
  • Can use many USB peripherals even wireless RII8 small keyboard.
  • As a beginner it takes a while before it is understandable.

Works immediately with selected software such as inkspace, gimp and Krita.
Cable options very sufficient to connect to the PC.
Works with a hand-held keyboard, easy as this drawing tablet is not touch. Also important to log in to windows.
The on-screen keyboard on the tablet, in the top right corner, does not work with Windows login.
The Windows drivers had to be downloaded from the Wacom website and installed with an .exe file. The installation went well, only the PC would not boot. Turned off the PC and turned it on again, the wacom tablet did not show a Windows login screen, after unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in, the login screen was displayed. The display was shown too narrow, this could not be adjusted via the wacom desk window and had to be set via Windows display resolution.
Due to this erroneous display with wrong resolution, the cursor of my drawing pen was about 3 cm from my pen tip.
There was still a plastic retaining plate, which prevented the back from being removed. Finally I was able to remove the back and connect the cables. The plastic locking plate is not included in the disassembly drawings.
The pdf manual of the coolblue site is very detailed and therefore useful. There was no start up guide, consisting of text supplied with the drawing tablet. The PDF can be used for that.
Detailed drawings to connect the cables.
The 4 USB connections on either side are sufficient for me.
I can't find the UK number on the packaging, I entered the type number on the web form but it was not confirmed.
This number is required to download SOFTWARE from Wacom.
Downloading the drivers does not require this number.
There is also a sheet of numbers under the back cover, perhaps the number is there.
All in all, I'm happy with the large drawing area.
