Description

The WINIX HR 1000 HEPA and Carbon filter is suitable for both the HR1000 and the HR950 air purifiers from WINIX. The four-fold filter consists of a pre-filter, a carbon filter, a HEPA filter and an odor filter. The filter has an antibacterial coating, which prevents a nasty odor. The filter lasts 1 to 2 years, depending on the air pollution. Changing the filter is easy and is clearly described in the accompanying manual.

The promise of the product is really proven after 1 year of use. In other words, what the product intended to do has been demonstrated in practice.

Decent but expensive product.

purifies excellent
quite expensive

To be replaced at least once a year, better is twice, so we opt for +/- 8 months as a replacement period. That makes it quite an expensive set. After measurements with a particulate matter meter (PM2.5 and PM10) the purifying effect is indeed efficient.
