Good product with bad driver/dongle

It is potentially a good product but somewhere in the dongle/driver there is a major bug. There is a bug somewhere in the connecting/charging operation that causes the dongle to lose the connection with the remote over time and then not be found again. Whatever you try from all the solutions online (reset, reinstall, switch USB port). Only solution: return for exchange or repair. I've had it years before and the same problem has still not been solved.
